FPs all but exited the 7s after heavy defeats to Kintore and Mannofield. Only a win and a mathematical miracle next week will allow them to progress to the next round of the plate. Against Kintore FPs made a disapointing 65 for 2 after an uninspiring 21 not out from Geoff Morrison, FPs bowled 9 wides anddropped 3 fairly straight forward catches to lose by 6 wickets and with an over to spare.
FPs followed this up by conceeding 99 for 2 against a vocal Mannofield side and were never in danger of victory as they slumped to 32 all out after some fine Mannofield fielding produced a number of run outs.
