Sam started playing for the 2nd XI last season and made an immediate impact by taking wickets, catches, and batting like every ball was his last.  He was a  good team man who always gave it everything no matter how bad the hangover was.

Sam left Aberdeen last Saturday and came down past Rubislaw on his way to the airport to say cheerio, and was generous enough to donate his kit bag and contents, including pads, helmet, rarely used bat, box, trainers and an Australian top!
