2s Blasted at Rubislaw

The latest team 2 clash at Rubislaw saw a dominant performance from Master Blasters as they outclassed 2s. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, the Master Blasters got off to a cautious start but soon accelerated thanks to a brilliant partnership between Tenneti and Gajjar. Tenneti’s century was a masterclass in composure and timing, while Gajjar’s explosive innings turned the tide decisively in favour of the batting side.

The middle order chipped in with quick runs, and the team finished with a formidable 311/4 in their allotted 40 overs. The bowling attack of 2s struggled to contain the flow of runs, with only Ibrahimikhel managing to pick up two wickets.

In response, 2s faltered early, losing wickets at regular intervals. The top order failed to build partnerships, and despite a fighting 55 from Masood and a handy 30 from Rafay, the team was bundled out for 162. The bowling unit of Master Blasters was clinical, with Aggarwal and Peedikayil leading the charge.
